Built-in Hints

The Hint button on the Status bar allows you to display Hints as they occur, or not display them at all; it is your choice. (We recommend that those who are new to AGi32 keep the Hint field displayed at least a little bit; a lot of useful information can be found there!)

In the example at left, the Hint that applies to the displayed dialog is showing in the lower-right corner, below the Statistics field. If the Hint button were clicked, disabling Hints, they won’t be displayed at all.

USEFUL: If a Hint is only partially visible, mousing over the Hint area will cause the Hint to open in a separate window, which can then be moved as desired. Once the dialog that generated the Hint is closed, the Hint closes too.
